CANTON, Ohio – The 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference/Mountain East Conference Swimming & Diving Championships begin Wednesday and conclude Saturday inside C.T. Branin Natatorium. The four-day event is hosted by Malone University.
Wednesday’s swimming preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. with the Women’s 200 IM, Men’s 200 IM, Women’s 50 Freestyle, and heats of the 1,000 Freestyle, followed by the Women’s 3-Meter diving preliminaries. The Women’s 3-meter diving finals kick off the evening’s slate, followed by the Women’s 200 Medley Relay, Men’s 200 Medley Relay, Women’s 1000 Freestyle, Men’s 1000 Freestyle, Women’s 200 IM, Men’s 200 IM, Women’s 50 Freestyle Relay, and Men’s 200 Freestyle Relay.
The ensuing three days of competition will follow a similar format, with swimming preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, followed by an evening session at 6 p.m.
Saturday’s sessions begin at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., the latter of which will be followed by the awards presentation.
Overall, four G-MAC and six MEC teams will compete for the championship. Three G-MAC schools sponsor both men’s and women’s swimming, while Hillsdale fields only a women’s squad.
The MEC has Davis & Elkins, Fairmont State, Frostburg State, Salem, West Virginia Wesleyan, and Wheeling competing in the event. Frostburg State is the defending champion in men’s and women’s swimming.
