BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – West Liberty’s Olivia Combs was named the Mountain East Conference Women’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week, while Concord’s Issac Prather was recognized as the Men’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week.

Combs, a sophomore from Nashport, Ohio, set the West Liberty school record in the Pole Vault (3.35m) event during this week’s Youngstown State Mid Major event. She took over sole possession of the school record a week after tying the mark.
Prather, a graduate student from Summersville, W.Va., ran to a second-place finish in the mile run a the VMI Winter Classic over the weekend. The performance broke his own program record in the event with a time of 4:10.86. Additionally, the performance is the fastest time recorded in MEC history.
