Women's Lacrosse 3/9/2020 4:00:09 PM Horan, O’Neill Earn Weekly MEC Lacrosse Awards BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Davis & Elkins’ Angelina Horan is the Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while Frostburg State's Maura O'Neill is the league's Defensive Player of the Week. Horan, a senior form Lothian, Md., scored 11 goals on 25 shots in three games for the Senators. Horan also scooped up seven ground balls, caused two turnovers and had 13 draw controls. O’Neill, a freshman from Bel Air, Md., recorded 17 ground balls, four caused turnovers, and eight draw controls as the Bobcats went 1-1 on the week. Other Top Performances Offense: Summer Cavey (FROST) scored six goals and registered five assists on a 1-1 week… Isabelle Pisani (UC) posted six goals and two assists in the Golden Eagles 18-13 win over non-conference Alderson Broaddus… Danyelle Hardy (NDC) scored eight goals on 10 shots over two games last week.
