2026 MEC Softball Tournament Field is Set

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The 2026 Mountain East Conference Softball Championship field is set and will get underway on Wednesday, May 6th at the James I. Moyer Sports Complex.
 
The eight-team, four-day tournament runs through Saturday, culminating with the championship game. There will be four games, six games on Thursday, three games on Friday, and then a potential for two games Saturday, if necessary, to determine the champion.  
 
Fairmont State won the North Division title, going 35-11 overall and 23-5 in league play. Charleston and Glenville State share the South title. UC went 42-14 and 24-6 in the MEC while Glenville State went 39-13 and 24-6 in league play.
 
The league will announce all-conference teams and top honors will be released on Tuesday, May 5th.
