BRIDEGPORT, W.Va. - Fairmont State University earned a bid to the 2026 National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association, coming a day after they claimed the MEC Tournament Championship. NCATA announced the eight-team field Monday afternoon following the conclusion of the regular season and championship events.

The Falcons are seeded No. 4 and will face No. 5 Augustana University in the quarterfinals on April 23 at 4:30 p.m., which is a rematch of last years quarterfinal matchup. The other quarterfinal matchups will be at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. and will be held at Felix Events Center in Azusa, California on the camous of Azusa Pacific University. The semifinals are set for Friday, April 24, and the championship final will be held Saturday, April 25 at 5 p.m., also at the Felix Events Center.

Slections to the event finals, which are set for 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 26th which will wrap up championship weekend. Glenville State, which made the MEC Championship against Fairmont State and was ranked No. 11 nationally in the final NCATA poll, qualified in two events: Toss Heat 1 (450 Salto)  and Tumbling Heat 6 (Open Pass).

The defending national champion Baylor Bears have earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament and will meet No. 8 seed Duquesne in the fourth quarterfinal of the day on Thursday, April 30 (at 7 p.m.).

Thursday’s quarterfinal round will begin with No. 3 seed Quinnipiac against No. 6 seed Iona at 10:30 a.m., followed by No. 2 Oregon verses No. 7 Gannon at 1:30 p.m.
