Seeds, Matchups Set for 2025 Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The seeds and matchups for the 2025 Mountain East Conference Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship are set, the league announced Saturday evening.

Fairmont State captured the 2025 MEC Regular Season Championship — the program's second consecutive — with a perfect 6-0 mark in conference competition. The Falcons will host next week’s MEC Championship, which will be held Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 at Joe Retton Arena.

Championship tickets are now on sale (purchase online). Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 13-18. Children ages 12 and under will receive free admission. Students from MEC institutions will also be admitted free with a valid student ID.

Top-seeded Fairmont State will begin competition in the MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship against fourth-seeded Kutztown, programs which met in Saturday’s regular season finale. The Falcons and Golden Bears will meet Friday at 5 p.m., following the first semifinal with No. 2 Glenville State and No. 3 Frostburg State.

The Pioneers and Bobcats open the two-day championship Friday at 2 p.m.

Additionally, the MEC will hold event finals on Saturday, April 12 at 11 a.m. The final list of qualifiers will be released Wednesday, April 9.
