INDIANAPOLIS — The University of Charleston men’s soccer team will host Adelphia University in the second round of the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Tournament.

UC, seeded No. 4, will host Adelphi on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m. at the Welch Athletic Complex in Charleston, West Virginia.

The Golden Eagles, which were ranked No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 in each of the final two weeks of the season, are 16-0-4 overall. UC defeated Concord in the MEC Men’s Soccer Championship final, the program’s eighth consecutive tournament title.

Last season, Charleston advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship match before losing to Lynn University, 3-2, in Matthews, North Carolina.
