MEC Places Nine on Atlantic Region Men's Soccer Team

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The Mountain East Conference featured nine total players on the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Men's Soccer team which was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The University of Charleston, which is ranked No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll and has also advanced to Sweet 16, led the Atlantic Region with seven selections. UC had three on the first team and four on second team. Sam Newell was named to the first team was the 2025 MEC Men's Offensive Player of the Year while Franco Tradatti, the 2025 MEC Defensive Player of the Year, was also a first team selection.. UC's Martin Echarren, the 2025 MEC Freshman of the Year, earned second team honors. Konstantinos Parisis, who was all All-MEC first team pick, eanred first team honors, while Joao Silva, Caio Moraes, and Tomas Petrungaro all were named to the second team.  
 
Concord had two players earn honors, with one on the first team and one on second team. Malher Santi Possu, who was an MEC first teamer, earned first team honors while Ted Roberts, who was also an MEC first teamer, earned second team honors.
