SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Sixth-ranked Shepherd held West Liberty under 200 yards of total offense on its way to a 44-10 win over the Hilltoppers on Saturday at Rams Stadium.
The Rams (8-0, 8-0), meanwhile, rolled up over 500 yards on the day. Quarterback Jeff Ziemba was 17-of-25 for 289 yards and two touchdowns and Jabre Lolley had 18 carries for 119 yards and a TD. Billy Brown had a big day receiving with eight catches for 145 yards and a score. James Gupton helped lead the defensive effort with six tackles, and Octavius Thomas had five tackles, including two for a loss and a sack.
Dakota Conwell was limited to just 14-of-27 passing for 126 yards with one touchdown but was intercepted three times. Daree' Goodwin had five catches for 46 yards and a TD. The Hilltoppers were held to just 65 yards rushing.
Fairmont State 33, Notre Dame 24 | Final Stats
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Fairmont State won for the fifth time in six weeks with a 33-24 road win over Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon at Mueller Field.
Cooper Hibbs was 25-of-37 for 298 yards with two touchdowns to lead the FSU (5-3, 5-3). Austin White went over 100 yards on the ground racking up 105 yards on 28 carries and also scored a touchdown. Fabian Guerra added eight receptions for 100 yards.
Jacob Jean-Charles recorded eight tackles (four solo) to help lead Fairmont State on defense. Marcus Porter added an interception to go with six stops. After giving up 126 rushing yards in the first half, FSU held NDC to just 43 in the second.
Malik Grove was limited to 13-of-28 passing for 176 yards and threw one interception for Notre Dame (3-6, 3-5). Mitchell Shegos had 101 yards receiving on six catches and DJ Green had a game-high 157 yards and two touchdowns. Zach Chatlain led Notre Dame with a game-best 16 tackles.
UVa-Wise 24, Urbana 19 | Final Stats
WISE, Va. -- UVa-Wise picked up its first win of the season in a 24-19 triumph over Urbana at Carl Smith Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Cavs (1-8, 1-7) built a 21-0 halftime lead and held off Urbana's second half rally.. Daniel Lewis connected on 20-of-33 passes for 270 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Zachary Blair had nine tackles, including three for a loss and a sack to lead the UVa-Wise defense.
Urbana (2-7, 1-7) was led by Trevon Saunders who had seven catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns. D'Gary Wallace became Urbana's all-time leader in tackles after racking up 19 stops (10 solo) and also added an interception.
Glenville State 30, Concord 25 | Final Stats
GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Dante Roberts quarterback sneak with 16 seconds left helped Glenville State get past Concord, 30-25, on Saturday afternoon at Morris Stadium.
Glenville State (6-3, 5-3) overcame two safeties and a blocked punt for a touchdown in the win. Concord had one last attempt getting the ball to the GSC 35-yard line, but Brian Novak's pass attempt was batted away in the end zone to preserve the Pioneers' win.
Roberts played in place of Sean Steele at quarterback and was 20-of-36 for 244 yards with a touchdown and also had the game-winning score on the ground. Tevin Drake carried 28 times for 161 yards with a score and Rahmann Lee added 18 attempts for 97 yards with a TD.
Calvinaugh Jones rushed 26 times for 130 yards with a touchdown to lead the Mountain Lions (4-5, 4-5). Tiko Henderson added six catches for 94 yards. Cade Rogers led the CU defense with 11 total tackles and Ervin Moore had seven solo stops with a sack.
UNC Pembroke 45, West Virginia State 21 | Final Stats
PEMBROKE, N.C. -- UNC Pembroke quarterack Patrick O'Brien completed 20-of-25 passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Braves to a 45-21 over West Virginia State in non-conference play for the Yellow Jackets.
WVSU (5-4) quarterback Matt Kinnick was 27-of-40 for 312 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Dionta Brown had 61 yards rushing and Trevond Reese had seven catches for 45 yards. Michell Rowell led the Yellow Jackets on defense with 11 tackles (eight solo) with one for a loss.

No. 23 Charleston 65, West Virginia Wesleyan 21 | Final Stats
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Jeremy Johnson threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns to lead No. 23 Charleston to a 65-21 win over West Virginia Wesleyan at UC Stadium.
The Golden Eagles (8-1) had four different players score rushing touchdowns and four different players recorded receiving touchdowns. UC finished with 559 yards of total offense. Marvin Elam had 97 rushing yards and one touchdown, and Jermaine Kelly added 96 yards and a TD. Rashawn Dickerson had six catches for 109 yards and one touchdown. Malcom Cater led the Golden Eagles with nine tackles (seven solo).
Michael Anderson led WVWC (1-7) with 173 yards with one touchdown and added five catches for another 35 yards. Mike Savage had seven tackles and DJ Foster added a pair of tackles for a loss, including a sack.
