BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference featured eight total players on the 2025 D2CCA Super Region 1 Football team announced Thursday afternoon.
 
Frostburg State had four total players earn honors with offensive lineman Doug Pruim II earning first team honors. Pruim II, a senior from Gloucester, Va., was also an All-MEC first teamer. Additionally, the Bobcats offensive lineman, Nick Blankenship earned second-team honors. Blankenship, a senior from Elkton, Md., was an All-MEC first teamer.
 
Defensively, Christian Taylor a senior defensive lineman from Washington, D.C. , earned second team honors and had 38 total tackles, 14 TFL’s, 10.0 sacks, with 3 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. In addition, Linebacker Carter Mazalewski, a sophomore from Mount Airy, Md., finished with 56 total tackles, an interception, 9.5 TFL’s, and 3.0 sacks, and earned second-team honors while he was also an All-MEC first teamer.
 
West Liberty had two players earn honors. Running Back Hunter Patterson, a junior from Chester, W.Va., was the 2025 MEC Offensive Player of the Year and a first team selection. Patterson rushed for 1,219 yards this season to go along with 17 touchdowns. He also ranks 2nd in Division II in Scoring with 12.0 PPG. Defensive lineman Grant Thompson also earned second-team honors. Thompson, a sophomore from Akron, Ohio, was an All-MEC first teamer had 47 total tackles, 14.0 TFL’s, 6.0 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
 
Fairmont State’s running back Leonard Farrow earned second team honors. Farrow, a junior from Mount Hope, W.Va., was an All-MEC first teamer and rushed for 1,438 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 1,438 rushing yards ranks him 5th in Division II in Rushing Yards.
 
Concord’s Nehemiah Scott earned second team honors. Scott, a junior from Richmond, Va., was an All-MEC first teamer. Scott finished with 95 total tackles, an interception, 13 PBU, and 3.5 sacks this season.
