BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Concord's Brandon Lee and Charleston's Kourtney Willey have been named Mountain East Conference Runners of the Week for their performances at the Coastal Carolina Invitational.
Lee, a freshman from Haymarket, Va., helped Concord finish first among Division II schools last weekend in Conway, S.C. Lee posted a time of 16:58.37 in a 5k finishing 17th overall and first among DII runners.
Willey, a junior from Las Vegas, Nev., was also the top finisher among Division II runners and finished 11th overall at the Coastal Carolina Invitational. She posted a time of 19:58 and helped lead the Golden Eagles to the the DII team title.

Men: Frank Kamarec (West Liberty) led the 'Toppers to a runner-up finish at the Alderson-Broaddus Invitational ... he finished 11th on the 8k course ... Mason Dail (Urbana) broke the school record in the 5k with a time of 17:02.90 and finishing 20th in a field of 44 at Ohio University ... Taylor Stacy (WV Wesleyan) finished fourth at the A-B Invite to lead the Bobcats to victory.
Women: Alexis Virtue (West Liberty) finished 10th at the Alderson-Broaddus Invitational with a time of 22:56.20 ... Jenna Hooks (Urbana) broke her own school record for a 5k by over 53 seconds with a time of 20:01.02 to finish 14th at Ohio University ... Emma Harrison (WV Wesleyan) was second at the A-B Invite with a time of 20:48 ...
