BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Liberty's Andrew Lowery and West Virginia Wesleyan's Emma Harrison have been named the Mountain East Conference Runners of the Week.
Lowery, a sophomore from Hillard, Ohio, paced the Toppers to a victory at the Bethany Invitational. Lowery finished sixth overall with a time of 29:06.4 as WLU placed four runners in the top 11. Harrison, a freshman from Farmington, W.Va., finished ninth at the Virginia Tech Invitational. She posted a time of 14:45 in a 4k in a meet that featured several Division I runners.

WV Wesleyan's Nathan Whitacre finished 14th overall in a time of 19:53.6 in a 5k at the Virginia Tech Invitational ... the meet featured several runners from Division I schools ... Concor'ds Brad Dugan finished 24th in that Virginia Tech Invitational with a time of 20:28.1 ... Urbana's Mason Dail the the Blue Knigts with a time of 29:32.1 in the 8K at Ohio Wesleyan ... Fairmont State's Lucas Gardner was 15th at the Forest Festival with a time of 32:15.74.

Fairmont State's Sara Yonders led the Falcons at the Forest Festival with a 15th-place finish with a time of 26:18.90 in a 6k ... Urbana's Jenna Hooks established a new school record in a 5k with a time of 20:54 ... she finished 42nd in a field of 161 at the Ohio Dominican Invitational ... West Liberty's Megan Blevins finished 10th with a time of 25:43.5 as the 'Toppers finished second at the Bethany Invitational.
