INDIANAPOLIS - The Glenville State Pioneers and the University of Charleston Golden Eagles have earned bids to the NCAA DII Basketball Tournament Atlantic Regional, announced Sunday night during the NCAA Selection Show.
 
The Pioneers, who enter as the six-seed and was an at-large bid, went 24-6 and won the MEC Regular Season Title, will face Winston- Salem the three-seed on March 13. Winston-Salem went 26-3 while also winning the CIAA Tournament. GSU, which fell to Charleston in the MEC Tournament Championship, is returning to the NCAA Tournament since the 2022-23 season when they made a run to the Final Four.
 
Charleston, who earned the automatic bid after winning the MEC Tournament Championship, enters as the eight-seed and will faceoff against Indiana (PA) who will host the Atlantic Regional. UC went 21-10 this season and will play IUP on March 13. IUP, who went 26-3 this season, won the PSAC Tournament Championship defeating Gannon.
 
All games times are TBA, and the Atlantic Regional will run from March 13-16 on the campus of IUP in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
