Frostburg State's Weakley Named WBCA First Team All-American

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. — The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced the NCAA Division II award winners for the 2024-25 season, and a pair of Mountain East Conference student-athletes were among the honorees.

Frostburg State’s Emilee Weakley was named to the WBCA All-American first team, adding to her decorated collegiate career. Weakley earned WBCA All-American honorable mention status a year ago, and in 2024-25 has been named an All-MEC first team honoree and D2CCA All-Region first team selection. Weakley helped Frostburg State to its first MEC semifinal appearance and a 19-win season.

Fairmont State’s Leslie Huffman was also recognized by the WBCA as an honorable mention selection.
