BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winner of this week’s Wrestler of the Week. The weekly awards are presented by The Health Plan.
 
West Liberty’s Tony Wood has been named this week’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Wood, a sophomore from Portland, Indiana, was the 149-pound champion at the Little State Invitational in Indiana. Tony was untouchable at that event, winning all five of his matches by bonus points, which included four pins, closing out the tournament with a 15-5 major decision in the finals.
