BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winner of this week’s Wrestler of the Week. The weekly awards are presented by The Health Plan.
 
West Liberty’s Carter Winegardner has been named this week’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Winegardner, a graduate senior from Zanesville, Ohio, earned a major decision over Flint Guerra, 17–4 of Ohio Northern at the Hilltoppers Duals. Winegardner helped the Hilltoppers earn a 30-15 victory.
