BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winners of this week’s Wrestler of the Week awards. The weekly awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Fairmont State’s Colton Stoneking and Wheeling’s Gavin Harper are the MEC Wrestlers of the Week.

Stoneking took home first place in the 141-weight class at the Washington & Jefferson Invite. The senior from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, finished 5-0 at the event, picking up a 9-6 decision in the finals for the tournament victory.

Harper led the Cardinals to the school’s first dual-meet win against Frostburg State last week. The junior from Calhoun, Georgia, secured the pin in the 285-pound weight class.
