BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Liberty's Madison Clayton has been tabbed the MEC Offensive Player of the week, while Davis & Elkins' Brilane Manchego has been named the MEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Clayton, a middle blocker from Rosevill, Ohio, helped the 'Toppers to a 2-0 week with wins over Frostburg State and Fairmont State. She had 10 kills and five blocks as West Liberty knocked off the Falcons, and then hit .579 with 11 kills and three blocks in a win over the Bobcats. 

Manchego, a junior from Pueblo, Colo., helped lead Davis & Elkins to a key MEC South victory last week against West Virginia State. In addition to 43 assists, Manchego also came up with 18 digs in the win. She also had three kills and served up an ace against the Yellow Jackets.
