INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Charleston and Fairmont State University will represent the Mountain East Conference in the NCAA DII Women’s Volleyball National Championship tournament field in the Atlantic Region.

The University of Charleston, who won the 2025 MEC Volleyball Tournament Championship back on November 22 and won a share of the MEC Volleyball South Division Title, is the No. 7 seed and will take on East Stroudsburg on Thursday, December 4 th at 1:30 pm in Erie, Pa. on the campus of Gannon University. The Golden Eagles are 23-12 on the season. This will be the second matchup between Charleston and East Stroudsburg, they played way back on September 12 with Warriors winning 3- 0.

Fairmont State University is the No. 6 seed and will face-off against the No. 3 seed in Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) also on Thursday, December 4 th at 11 am in Erie, Pa. on the campus of Gannon University. Fairmont State, who is 23-10 and won a share of the MEC Volleyball North Division Title. This is the first matchup between the Fighting Falcons and crimson Hawks this season.
