EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- Twelve men's soccer players from the Mountain East Conference have earned All-Atlantic Region honors by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced today.

MEC teams dominated the first team with eight selections including the region's Player of the Year in Arthur Favero of Notre Dame. NDC defender Paolo Termine and goalkeeper Daniele De Angelis also earned first team honors. Charleston's Armando Tikvic (D), Williams N'Dah (D) and Gabriel Cabral (M) also earned first team honors. Midfielders Matthew Bentley of West Virginia Wesleyan and Martin Minuzzi of Wheeling Jesuit were placed on the first team. 

UC's Freddy Tracey (F) and Christos Charalambous (M) were second team selections, along with Urbana's Jasminko Dizdarevic (M) and Zach Whiting (D).
