Fairmont State's Farrow Named D2Football.com Offensive Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — D2Football.com named Fairmont State running back Leonard Farrow the Offensive Player of the Week for Week 0.

Farrow, a 5-foot-10, 195-pound junior from Mount Hope, West Virginia, had a career day in the Falcons’ 24-21 win against Seton Hill last Thursday. Farrow rushed 25 times for 274 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching a 32-yard touchdown pass out of the backfield. He led the team in rushing and receiving yards, and added a 26-yard kickoff return to finish the day with 332 all-purpose yards.

For his efforts, Farrow was also named the MEC Offensive Player of the Week. Farrow’s day on the ground ranks No. 10 in MEC history for a single game, and the fourth-best rushing performance in Fairmont State history. He leads Division II in rushing yards and all-purpose yards.

D2Football.com also recognized UT Permian Basin linebacker Tristan Exline and Wingate kicker Caleb Bonesteel.
