MEC Football: Week 1 Preview

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Week 1 of the Division II college football season features nine Mountain East Conference teams in action — four on Thursday, and five more on Saturday. A trio of Thursday night teams remain undefeated: University of Charleston, Frostburg State, and Fairmont State.

Two Thursday night teams will host: West Virginia Wesleyan welcomes Clarion, and Fairmont State will face Bloomsburg. On Saturday, West Virginia State (Barton), West Liberty (Seton Hill), and Wheeling (Walsh) are all at home in non-conference action.

Thursday, Sept. 4
