UC Sweeps MEC Cross Country Runner of the Week Awards

MEC Runner of the Week is presented by The Health Plan

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – For the second week in a row, the University of Charleston has swept the Mountain East Conference Runner of the Week awards with Aidan O’Leary and Jeanne Corroy receiving honors.
 
The MEC Runner of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.
 
O’Leary, a junior from Chicago, Illinois, finished second overall at the Charleston Invitational with a time of 18:53 on the 6k course. It was also a personal best time for the junior.
 
Corroy, a junior from France, won the Charleston Invitational 4k race with a time of 14:23. That time is the second-fastest 4k time in school history.
