BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan has earned the top seed for the MEC Men's Tennis Tournament set for this week (April 20-22) at the Brian David Fox Tennis Center in Huntington, W.Va.

The Bobcats, the defending tournament champions, completed an undefeated conference regular season going 7-0 in league play. Fairmont State secured the No. 2 seed with a league record of 6-1. The Bobcats and Falcons receive a first-round bye and will play on Saturday. 

Charleston will be the No. 3 seed and will take on No. 6 seed Shepherd on Friday at 2 p.m. That match will follow fourth-seeded West Liberty against fifth-seeded Concord at 11 a.m.

The winner of the West Liberty/Concord match will advance to take on West Virginia Wesleyan, while Fairmont State will get the winner of Charleston and Shepherd.

Quarterfinals (Friday, April 20)

2 p.m.: #3 Charleston vs. #6 Shepherd

Semifinals (Saturday, April 21)
11 a.m.: #1 West Virginia Wesleyan vs. #4/5 Winner
