BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Glenville State's Darhius Nunn has been named Mountain East Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced today.
Nunn, a junior from Fairmont, W.Va., went for 42 points and dished out 16 assists to help Glenville State to a win over Wheeling Jesuit last Tuesday night. He was 14-of-21 from the field, including 10-of-16 from behind the arc, and had a role in 30 of GSC's 43 field goals on the night. Nunn's 16 assists are the most in a game in Division II this season, and his 10 three-pointers are tied for the most in a game this season. He also had four rebounds and three steals against the Cardinals.

Eric Meininger (WLU) posted the first triple-double of the NCAA Division II season and third in MEC history with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in a win over West Virginia Wesleyan…Mike Ryan (UU) knocked down nine of 10 shots for a career-high 25 points over Carlow in a 1-2 week for the Blue Knights…Pat Johnson-Agwu (WVSU) had 26 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in a 78-76 loss to Malone…Winston Burgess (SU) scored a career-high 32 points in a 101-93 win over Charleston along with five rebounds, one steal, and a block…Tommy Bolte (CU) had 26 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in the Mountain Lions’ 99-79 win over Urbana…Isaiah Sanders (NDC) averaged 18 points with seven rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks in a 2-0 week for the Falcons…Drew Rackley (UC) notched a record 47 points against Shepherd and added 21 points in a win over Edinboro…Jason Jolly (FSU) scored 28 points including eight three-points in a 94-76 win over West Virginia State.
