PITTSBURGH, PA – The 2025-26 Conference Commissioner’s Association Divisiion II Atlantic Region teams have been released and three MEC players named to the team, announced on Thursday morning.
Frostburg State’s Trye Simmons was named to the first team. Simmons, the MEC Player of the Year and an All-MEC First teamer, led the MEC in Scoring and is 5
th in DII in Point Per Game with 24.2. He ranked 8
th in the MEC in Assists with 3.2 per game and was 12
th in the league in Steals.
Fairmont State’s Drey Carter and Concord’s Boubacar Djigo have both been named to the second team. Carter, an All-MEC First teamer, was 8
th in the league in scoring with 16.6 points per game and was 5
th in Rebounding with 7.7 per contest. He helped the Falcons finish 2
nd in the MEC regular season while helped leading them to the MEC Tournament Championship game.
Djigo, the MEC Defensive Player of the Year and an MEC First Teamer, led the MEC in rebounding and ranks 2
nd in DII with 13.3 per game. He also averaged 16.5 points per game, and 1.1 blocks per contest.
