BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference has announced the winners of this week’s MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.
 
Frostburg State’s Alicia Mansaray has been named the MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Player of the Week while fellow Bobcat Eleanor Ohngren has been named the MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Specialist of the Week.
 
Mansaray, a senior base/tumbler from Lowell, Massachusetts, helped the Bobcats score a 232.325 in a tri-meet with West Liberty and Kutztown. She scored a 9.30 in better in six out-of-the 10 events. And in the other four scored an 8.15 or better.  In the team event she helped the Bobcats score a 72.04 out of 99.49.
 
Ohngren, a base/top/tumbler senior from Ferndael, Michigan, led Frostburg State to scores of 9.35 and above in all three Pyramid heats in team's tri-meet sweep of West Liberty and Kutztown.
