FAIRMONT, W.Va. — The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winners of this week’s Cross Country Runner of the Week awards. The weekly awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Davis & Elkin’s Dan Reeve is the MEC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while fellow Senator Zoe Belshan is the MEC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. 

Reeve, a freshman, ran a 25:09 8K time at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College. The freshman finished 12th overall out of 465 runners, and led Davis & Elkins to a fourth place team finish. 

Belshan, a senior from Floyd, Virginia, finished 43rd out of 452 total runners at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College. Belshan’s 22:41 6K time led the Senators to a 7th place finish, which was the 2nd highest Division II finish.
