PITTSBURGH – Point Park senior outfielder
Jared Campbell was named a third team All-American by the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) on Wednesday afternoon.
Campbell, from Sunrise, Florida, batted .385 with 19 home runs and 63 runs batted in. He had an .811 slugging percentage and .512 on-base percentage. In total, Campbell had 65 hits, 63 runs scored, 13 doubles and 14 stolen bases. He also had a .992 fielding percentage as Point Park's starting center fielder.
During last week's MEC Tournament (May 7-11), Campbell batted 7-of-13 with five home runs and 13 runs batted in. His performance at the plate earned him a spot on the MEC All-Tournament Team as the tournament's Most Outstanding Performer.
Campbell was also voted the MEC Player of the Year in 2025 and was a first team All-MEC selection as an outfielder. Additionally, Campbell was named the Atlantic Region Hitter of the Week back on Feb. 27.
Campbell was one of four players to earn All-America recognition from the Atlantic Region, being joined by Seton Hill's Ian Korn (National Pitcher of the Year), California's Jake Kramer (3rd Team Relief Pitcher) and East Stroudsburg's Caden Parker (Honorable Mention Relief Pitcher).
