BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Nine Mountain East Conference student-athletes were honored Friday by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
The 2025 NCBWA All-Atlantic Region team featured five MEC players on the first team: Concord’s Kaden Swaim; Point Park teammates Omar Morillo and Jared Campbell; and Frostburg State teammates Jake Holler and Patrick Bauer.
Campbell was previously honored as the 2025 MEC Player of the Year. He led Point Park, in its inaugural season in Division II, to the best overall regular season record in MEC play, the top overall conference tournament seed, and the MEC Baseball Championship. For his efforts, Campbell was named MEC Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Bauer was named the 2025 MEC Pitcher of the Year.
Four others were honored on the NCBWA All-Atlantic Region second team: Charleston’s Evan Ulrich, Point Park’s Crixtian Taveras, West Virginia State’s Nathen Paulsen, and Glenville State’s Zac Bayor.
