BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- The seedings and pairings for the 2021 Mountain East Conference Men's Basketball Tournament presented by The Health Plan have been finalized after the conclusion of today's action.

The top five teams in each division qualified for the tournament with the top three in each division receiving byes. West Liberty won the North Division, while the University of Charleston took home the South Division.

Fairmont State finished as the No. 2 seed in the North Division, and Notre Dame is the No. 3 seed in the North and, along with West Liberty, receive a bye through to the quarterfinals. Alderson Broaddus is seeded fourth and will host fifth-seeded Wheeling in the first round on Monday night.

In the South, Glenville State secured the No. 2 seed, while West Virginia State locked up the No. 3. The Golden Eagles, Pioneers and Yellow Jackets all receive byes through to the quarterfinals. Concord, the No. 4 seed in the South, will serve as the host for fifth-seeded Davis & Elkins on Monday night.
