BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- The seedings and pairings for the 2020 Mountain East Conference Tournament presented by The Health Plan have been finalized after the conclusion of today's action. (BUY TICKETS ONLINE)

The top 10 teams qualify for the tournament at WesBanco Arena, with the top six seeds earning byes. Glenville State claimed the regular season title and is the top seed for this year's tournament for the fourth-straight year. The Pioneers are seeking their fourth MEC Tournament title and third in as many years.

Notre Dame is the No. 2 seed, followed by Charleston, Concord, Urbana and Fairmont State. Those six teams earned first-round byes.

Wheeling is seeded seventh, and will take on 10th-seeded Davis & Elkins in the opening round of the tournament on Wednesday at noon. Eighth-seeded West Liberty will take on ninth-seeded West Virginia State on Wednesday at 2:15 p.m.
