Mountain East Announces New Mountain East TV App, Powered by Visaic

FAIRMONT, W. Va. - The Mountain East Conference, along with its new streaming partner Visaic, announced today the release of a series of Mountain East Conference apps which will deliver streams of games and other MEC events via a variety of platforms.

MEC TV apps are now available for download on Android Mobile, as well as Amazon Fire TV and Roku TV. The MEC TV app for iOS will be released in the coming days.

In addition to the MEC apps, all published MEC content is additionally available at MountainEast.TV. The MEC and its 12 member institutions debuted the partnership with Visaic earlier this summer.

Live Mountain East Conference streaming content is free to view via the new MEC Digital Network. Fans looking for premium features can access archived games, highlight clipping, social media sharing, and reduced ads by purchasing the VIP pass for $9.99 a month.

“This transition to Visaic for the delivery of MEC video content will provide a platform that will allow us to significantly enhance the streaming experience for our fans while creating new revenue streams to offset our rising costs of content delivery, while keeping live content free to view,” said MEC Commissioner Reid Amos.
