BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- The Mountain East Conference today announced a two-year sponsorship agreement with Samsung making the company the league's official digital display partner.
"The Mountain East Conference is very pleased to be partnering with a global brand like Samsung," Commissioner Reid Amos said. "Samsung has continued to expand its product lines at a time when institutions such as our MEC members are experiencing an increasing demand for access to high-quality digital display products at an affordable cost. We look forward to working with a company that shares our passion for technology, innovation and a first-class experience.”
“We are excited to be the official display partner of the Mountain East Conference," says Mark Quiroz, Vice President of Product Marketing, Display Division, Samsung Electronics America. “This new partnership demonstrates Samsung’s dedication to expanding our presence in collegiate sports and our passion for bringing unique game-day experiences to all fans from the living room to the sidelines.”
In addition to being selected to install video boards in some of the most state-of-the-art arenas in the country such as the Chase Center (Golden State Warriors), SoFi Stadium (new home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers), and Allegiant Stadium (new home of the Las Vegas Raiders), Samsung also brings solutions to arenas and campuses with video boards and digital displays throughout venues/facilities. The partnership will help provide MEC institutions the opportunity for enhanced technology solutions on their own campuses.
