BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference will host Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Day on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.

The event is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start and will be streamed live on MountainEast.tv (DIRECT LINK).

The event will begin with opening comments from MEC Commissioner Reid Amos. Following the opening comments, each of the league’s women’s and men’s head basketball coaches will provide a season preview at the podium. After hearing from each head coach at the podium, all MEC head coaches will be available for one-on-one interview opportunities with members of the media in attendance. The 2025-26 MEC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Preseason Polls will be released just before the media day gets underway.

The MEC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Basketball Tournament Presented by The Health Plan runs March 4-8, 2026, at WesBanco Arena.
