BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Notre Dame’s Mirai Sato has been named the MEC Offensive Player of the Week, while Keegan Grant of Concord has earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.
 
The MEC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.
 
Sato, a junior forward from Tokyo, Japan, helped the Falcons go 1-0-1 this week with a win over West Virginia Wesleyan. He tallied two goals this week with seven shots (five on goal).
 
Grant, a sophomore goalkeeper from Perth, Australia, helped the Mountain Lions go 1-0-1 this week with a win over Emory & Henry. He allowed just one goal this week while making a total of 13 saves. Grant had 12 of his 13 saves in a 0-0 draw with Notre Dame.
