MEC Announces Seeds and Matchups for 2022 Men's Soccer Championship

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference today announced the seeds and quarterfinal matchups for the 2022 MEC Men’s Soccer Championship. Quarterfinal play will begin on Tuesday afternoon on campus sites.

Earlier this fall, the Mountain East Conference approved an increased championship field for its men’s soccer tournament, increasing the number of qualifying teams from four to six in 2022. In the expanded format, the top six teams in the final men’s soccer standings will qualify for postseason play. The top two seeds in the tournament field will receive a bye to the semifinal round.
