BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- The field and seedings have been set for the 2019 Mountain East Conference Volleyball Tournament.

Regular season champion Wheeling will serve as the host for the eight-team event that starts on Thursday, Nov. 21, with the quarterfinals. The semifinals will be played on Friday, Nov. 22, with the championship being played on Saturday, Nov. 21.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (ages 5-18) and senior citizens. Students with a valid ID will be admitted free. There are also three-day passes available for $25.

Urbana and West Virginia State tied for second place in the league, but Urbana earned the No. 2 seed in the tournament with its regular season victory over the Yellow Jackets. Davis & Elkins is seeded fourth. There was a three-way tie for fifth place in the league, and West Liberty emerged from the three-team tiebreaker with the No. 5 seed. Notre Dame is seeded sixth and Fairmont State is seeded seventh. Charleston claimed the final, No. 8 seed.
