CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston won its fourth-straight Mountain East Conference Men's Soccer Tournament title defeating Urbana, 2-1, on Sunday evening at Schoenbaum Stadium.

The Golden Eagles struck first early on a defensive miscue as Patrick Guier found Jermaine Windster through a pair of blue shirts, and Windster was able to get off a low shot to the far post for the score just seven minutes into the game. Urbana got the equalizer just 10 minutes later as Lars Blenckers took a feed from Tom Walbeoff to make it 1-1. 

Ten more minutes later, Guier was involved on UC's second and decisive score getting the ball to Freddie Tracey who put it in the net. Urbana mounted some pressure in the second half, but could not break through Paulo Pita turned away all four shots he faced in the second 45 minutes to preserve the win for UC.
