WHEELING, W.Va. -- Wheeling Jesuit captured its third-straight Mountain East Conference Tournament title with a 3-1 (25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 25-10) win over Fairmont State.

Wheeling Jesuit (33-4) earns the automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament and is expected to be the top seed in the Atlantic Region when the bracket is announced on Monday night. Fairmont State drops to 25-8 on the year and will have to wait to see if it is in the field of 64 during the selection show. 

Kayce Krucki had 14 kills and just one error to go with 15 digs and three blocks to lead the Cardinals. Emma Schleucher had 12 kills and eight digs. Andrea Thobe had 52 assists on WJU's 52 kills as the Cards posted a .349 hitting percentage. 

Mackenzie Harrison and Erin Harwood each had 13 kills on the night to lead FSU. Jessica Furda had 42 assists and 14 digs, and Megan Clerico came up with 23 digs on the night.
