DANIELS, W.Va. -- Notre Dame College leads after the first round of play at the 2017 Mountain East Conference Women's Golf Tournament at Glade Springs Resort.
The Falcons finished the day with a 329, 21 shots better than defending champion University of Charleston (350). West Virginia Wesleyan is in third after shooting a 353.
Concord’s Natalia Jornet leads all players with a first round score of 75. West Virginia Wesleyan’s Kylie Day was the only other player to break 80 after shooting a 79. Notre Dame’s Alexandra Cardi and Elsa Goodsen both carded 80 on the afternoon while Charleston’s Alyssa Wrozier rounded out the top five with an 81.
