DANIELS, W.Va. -- The University of Charleston leads extended its lead to 28 shots after two rounds of the 2016 Mountain East Conference Women's Golf Tournament at Glade Springs Resort.
UC, which lead by 21 after the first day, once again had the best team score of the day shooting 347. Notre Dame moved into second place with a round of 353, and now sits nine shots ahead of Wheeling Jesuit in third.
Concord's Natalia Jornet had the best round on the day shooting 80, and moved into a tie for the individual lead UC's Lauren Crouse who carded an 82. The pair are tied atop the leaderboard with 158 after two rounds. Notre Dame's Brianna Stokes is third (163), and WVWC's Katie Casey and Charleston's Elizabeth Karsten are tied for fourth (165).
