NASHPORT, Ohio -- Indiana's Kenneth Sames fired a two-under 70 to help put the Crimson Hawks in front after 18 holes at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Tournament at Longaberger Golf Club.

IUP finished with a first round score of 306, and is three in front of Charleston, St. Thomas Aquinas and Wilmington. Le Moyne is just one shot out of that tie for second, and Gannon is sixth (315) and West Liberty (317) is seventh. 

Sames leads all individuals at -2, and a pair of Wilmington's Andreas Lunding shot an even 72, while teammate Sam Clark shot 73, as did IUP's Max Kirsch. Five players are tied for fifth at 74.
