CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- All four top seeds advanced to the semifinals of the Mountain East Conference Tournament on Friday afternoon at Schoenbaum Courts in Charleston.

Top-seeded West Virginia State remained unbeaten after defeating Fairmont State, 5-0. West Liberty and Charleston also scored 5-0 victories, and West Virginia Wesleyan got by UVa-Wise, 5-2.

The MEC Tournament will continue on Saturday with West Liberty taking on Charleston at 10 a.m., followed by West Virginia State and West Virginia Wesleyan at 1 p.m. The tournament will conclude on Sunday at 10 a.m.
